Terms of sale
Last updated: 17 June 2026
These terms of sale apply to the purchase of experiences and tickets from OmCider AS via omcider.no. By completing a purchase you accept these terms. They supplement Norwegian law — including the Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act and the Contracts Act — and do not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer legislation.
1. Seller
The seller and your contracting party is:
- OmCider AS
- Company registration number: 923 459 472
- Address: Bygdavegen 36, 4130 Hjelmeland, Norway
- Email: post@omcider.no
- Phone: +47 971 12 475
2. What the agreement covers
The agreement covers the purchase of a ticket to an experience at OmCider — for example a tasting, tour or event — on a set date and time. The experience is delivered as a service on the chosen date at Fevoll farm, Bygdavegen 36, 4130 Hjelmeland, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Ordering and formation of the agreement
You choose the experience, date, time and number of tickets, enter your contact details and pay. The agreement is binding once payment is confirmed and you have received a confirmation email with a reference number (OC-…).
We encourage you to check that the confirmation matches your order. If anything is wrong, please contact us as soon as possible.
4. Prices
All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) including value added tax (VAT). The total price for the order, including all charges, is shown before you confirm the purchase. We do not add hidden fees.
5. Payment
Experiences are paid for in advance (prepayment). You can pay with Vipps or by payment card via Stripe. Payment is processed by Vipps MobilePay and Stripe as payment providers; OmCider does not store full card details. The amount is charged in connection with the order.
6. Confirmation and delivery
After payment is completed you receive a confirmation email with the details and your reference number. "Delivery" of the service takes place when the experience is carried out on the agreed date and time. Please bring your reference number to the visit.
7. Right of withdrawal
The purchase of an experience to be carried out on a specific date or within a specific period is a contract for a leisure or catering service with a set time. Such contracts are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 22(m). This means you do not have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on these tickets.
Instead, OmCider offers its own voluntary cancellation scheme that is more generous than the law requires. See the section on cancellation and refunds below.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your booking and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made no later than 14 days before the experience starts. For cancellations less than 14 days before, the ticket is not refunded.
You can cancel yourself via the "Manage booking" link in the confirmation email, or by contacting us at post@omcider.no or +47 971 12 475. Refunds are made to the same payment method you used, normally within 5–10 business days.
9. Cancellation and changes by OmCider
Should we have to cancel or move an experience — for example due to too few participants, illness or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) — you will be offered a new date or a full refund of the ticket price. OmCider is not liable for other costs you may have incurred in connection with the visit, such as travel or accommodation.
10. No-show
If you do not show up for the experience without having cancelled within the 14-day deadline, the ticket is not refunded.
11. Age limit and alcohol
Tasting of alcoholic cider requires that the guest is at least 18 years old, and we may ask for identification. We do not serve alcohol to clearly intoxicated persons. Non-alcoholic alternatives are always available.
12. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the experience or believe there is a defect in the service, please contact us as soon as possible at post@omcider.no so we can find a solution. Consumer purchases are governed by the Consumer Purchases Act.
If we cannot reach agreement, you may bring the matter before the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet, forbrukertilsynet.no). If you buy from another EEA country, you may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
13. Privacy
How we process your personal data in connection with booking and payment is described in our privacy policy, which you can find at omcider.no/en/privacy.
14. Governing law and disputes
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. We will try to resolve disputes amicably. If that fails, the dispute may be brought before the ordinary courts with OmCider’s legal venue, unless mandatory rules give you the right to a different venue.
15. Changes to the terms
OmCider may update these terms of sale. The version in force at any given time is published on this page. For your purchase, the terms published when you placed the order apply.
